LEIGH ELPHICK (GUITAR/BASS)

I love music and I've been playing guitar since 2000. I've been at L2P since 2010 and I have really enjoyed teaching here. All the students are really enthusiastic and we have loads of fun in our lessons.
In my spare time I play in a band called 'The Retreats.'

ANDREW BOLAND (GUITAR)

Hey, I've been learning guitar for years and even learnt at L2P for 2 years. I started teaching here in 2010 and love it.
I enjoy playing guitar as well as playing soccer and body boarding. I'm fun to be with, patient, enthusiastic and care about my students. I intend to do the best that I can for my students and enjoy seeing people develop and learn.

MATT M(GUITAR/UKE/BANJO)

Hey, I’m Matt and I teach guitar trumpet and ukulele. I’ve been at Learn2play since 2012, and used to get lessons here as well!

My main reasons for teaching are passing on my knowledge and understanding onto others, it’s a passion not a job.

My musical ambitions are to get my band into regular gigs, and to tour the world.

MATT W (GUITAR)

Hey, I’m Matt W and I’ve been at L2P since the beginning of 2012 as a guitar teacher. I played guitar throughout highschool, but I love being able to put my knowledge into practice, especially spreading the joys of playing! It’s so great to be able to see students learn and really grow; it’s really interesting and fun to see people go from beginners to great musicians!

DAVID THOMAS (GUITAR)

Hey! My name’s Dave and I have been a guitar teacher here since 2011. One of the best reasons for teaching and working at L2PM is meeting new people and experiencing new challenges with each student. I also love music and helping my students to excel in their musicianship.

NICK CANN (GUITAR/BASS)

Hey guys, I'm Nick!

I teach Bass and Guitar and have been working with L2P since 2009. Through L2P I've had opportunities to play in bands both in and out of L2P. I'm currently in a band called Monsieur Moon with L2P Drum teacher Graeme. I'm also at JME Academy studying Music.

My name’s Lydia and I’m a piano and flute teacher at Learn2play. I’ve been at L2P since 2012. It’s so great to be able to watch students grow in musical ability. Reading and playing music is such a great skill to have, and it’s awesome to be part of that.

PAT DOHERTY (PIANO)

I’m Pat, and I’ve been at Learn2play since 2012. I love teaching for the fun and experience I can share with my students. My favourite composer is Rachmaninov, but I also love blues and techno based music. Teaching has allowed me to learn with my students and become a better musician.

LIZZIE HUNTER (PIANO)

Hi there! I’m Lizzie, and I’ve been teaching piano at Learn2Play since 2011. I love the amazing feeling you get when you can see your students improving each week, its great! My greatest musical experience was travelling around Cuba for 4 weeks with school, and learning about their music and culture, I’d love to inspire other students to do the same.

JESSIE CHEN (PIANO)

Hi everyone! I’m Jessie, and I’m a piano teacher at L2PM. I’ve been teaching here since the beginning of 2012 and love it! I love classical musicians like Chopin, but also enjoy playing jazz music by Sinatra and more contemporary pieces by musicians like Noel Gallagher. I love seeing my students develop their piano skills, and in a fun environment.

Hey guys, I’m Shane and I’m a retail assistant and drum/guitar teacher. I’ve been at L2PM since 2011, where I’ve been able to really share my passion for music with others and see them succeed with the instrument they enjoy.

Hey guys I’m Andrew and I’ve been at Learn2Play since 2011 as a drums and guitar teacher, and also as a retail assistant. I love being able to grow and experience music with my students, and share my enthusiasm. It’s really inspiring to see a student’s progress, and see them learning different skills and techniques.

Henry ‘Basil’ Bidwell here, rocking out on the drums since 2009 at Learn2play! It’s awesome to help everyone develop as musicians and see someone really come to enjoy music. I can’t wait to perform with my students at our concerts!

DANIEL FURNARI (DRUMS/GUITAR)

Hey everyone, I’m Dan F, a drum and guitar teacher here at L2P. Music is my most favourite thing in the world.  It’s great to share that with other people, and pass on both my passion and my knowledge. My ultimate goal is to write record and tour professionally with a band, and I hope to inspire other students to do the same!

Hi! I’m Olivia and I’ve been teaching singing since 2012. I just love watching people gain a love for singing; it even makes me enjoy it more!

Hey I’m Chloe! I teach singing and piano at L2PM, and love it! That and my passion for sharing is why I enjoy teaching. I’ve been here since 2010 and hope to become a performer and high school music teacher.

PENNIE ADAM (SINGING/PIANO)

Hey, I’m Pennie and I’ve been a singing and piano teacher at L2PM since 2011.The reason I started teaching was because I wanted to share the beauty of music with others, and learn with my students. I love musicians like Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys and Michael Jackson, and they’ve been the main influence behind me wanting to further develop my music career as a singer/songwriter, and of course be a better music teacher!

MARGARET ENRIQUEZ (SINGING)

Hi guys! I’m a singing and piano teacher at Learn2play, and I started in 2011.
I wanted to teach to share what I learned in music with others. I’d love to be able to perform professionally as a singer and performer!

JADE LOCKE (SINGING)

Hey boys and girls! My name’s Jade, and I’m one of the vocal teachers here at L2P, where I’ve been teaching since October, 2010. Teaching and seeing my students grow both musically and as a person brings me an indescribable happiness. I hope to pass on my passion and inspirations to everyone who comes into my classroom.

VANESSA GREGORY (FLUTE/SCHOOL ADMIN)

Hi! I'm Vanessa and I've been at L2P since 2006, working on the school desk and as a flute teacher. It's really great to be able to see students go from an absolute beginner to a fantastic flute player, really inspiring! I love being able to learn alongside my students, and see their passion for music grow.

Hi everyone! I’ve been at Learn2play since 2012, as a trumpet tutor and working on the school desk as well. I love teaching music as it is a great passion of mine, and I want to sure I can share it with as many people as possible!

ALANNA DIBDIN (VIOLIN/PIANO)

Hey there, I’m Alanna and I’ve been at Learn2play since 2010. I teach violin and beginner piano, and love classical musicians like Bach, Mozart and Seitz. I enjoy helping people with something I am passionate about, that’s the number one reason! To encourage my students to perform I tell them about how I was also very nervous about playing in front of other people, but I had to overcome my fears and played for my school. The crowd loved it and it felt great! Performing is a fantastic experience.
